Texas Marriage License
And last but certainly not least, you must not forget to apply for your marriage license! Thankfully, it’s pretty easy to obtain your license in the Lone Star State. All you need to do is bring a valid I.D. such as your driver’s license or a certified copy of your birth certificate to your county clerk’s office. Once you obtain your license, you must wait at least 72 hours before you officially get married.
